AZPoetrypedia Social Surfer Saturday!

Bring a laptop, bring some notes. We will converge on Inside the Bungalow in Downtown Mesa for the first of what hopefully will be many fun "group surf's". We are looking to expand AZPoetrypedia.com, the Arizona Poetry database for Arizona. Have a laptop and need some stuff to enter? Oh, trust us, there is plenty of Arizona poetry history to document that is not on the site. Scoresheets from slams, Past Events, Poets names and bios, Organizations, you name it, we have files and files of stuff that it would be awesome to get updated into the site. But we need your help:

- If you are an AZ event host or organizer, come out, and update the site with your Event page, your Venue's page, some pages about some of your regulars.

- If you publish poetry in a jornal, magazine, or zine in AZ, come on out and create a page for your publication, maybe some pages for some of your issues, include your list of published poets.

- Maybe you have a writer's group, or are the leader of a workshop, or festival that includes poetry in AZ, come on out and create pages for your group or event, maybe some bio pages for some of the principle people involved, and pages for some of your past events.

- Maybe your not any of these things, and you just want to help out by entering some of the info we already have? Come on by.

Of coarse, you do not have to wait until the 29th, you can log in today and start adding or updating pages in the database. But, if you'd like to come out, head over to the Anthology forum and post in the AZPoetrypedia thread that you will be there. If enough people respond, say 10 or so, I think I can get Anthology to buy us a pizza or two.

Hopefully, if this one goes well, we can do some others around the state (which, by the way, you are free to organize)!
