Poets are now able to register for the September 10th Mesa Poetry Slam. For the September Slam, Anthology is admitting 10 Poets, competing for a first place prize of $100. Poet Registration to slam is FREE.

	To slam, poets must pre-register on the Anthology website, by visiting THIS LINK. No signups are allowed the night of the show.
	Tickets for the show are $5 is bought online in advance here, or $8 at the door. Tickets are available at THIS LINK.

The Feature for the month of September will be Madeline Beckwith

"I am a spoken word poet, singer, author and kick-ass poker player. Although I am originally from Nebraska, I consider Las Vegas to be  my artistic home. I was the Las Vegas Grand Slam Champion in 2002. I hosted Las Vegas' first weekly slam in conjunction with Clark County Parks and Recreation before branching out to other venues. I have toured across the country in support of my first CD: "What it's like for Girls." After a long hiatus I am reintroducing myself to the poetry scene with my new CD: "Unfinished."

While this is an all ages show, those over 21 will be carded and wristbanded as alcohol will be served.
