Use this form to register for the Mesa Poetry Slam. Your submittal of this form indicated that you have read and agree to the following:

No Signups at Show

• Poets will not be allowed to sign up at the show. All registrations must be done in advance.

Checking In

• Poets are expected to be checked in by 7:45p, or 15 minutes prior to the advertised start time. Poets not checked in by this time will lose their place on the list.

Signup Limits

• The slam reserves the right to limit signups based on features or special events. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation from the slammaster that you have/have not been added to the list.
• There will be a waiting list. If the number of poets wanting to slam, exceeds the number of available spots, we will maintain a waiting list. IF a poet withdraws before the day of the show, then we will send a follow up to the next poet on the list.

Only sign up if you intend to be there.

• If you sign up, and cannot slam, you need to let the Slammaster know immediatley. If you don't, and you don't show up, don't expect that we are going to be too keen on letting you sign up for a couple months. 
• If you have a conflict, or something comes up, that's cool, just let us know, email mesaslam@anthology.org. We keep a list of poets in waiting, and it's just a matter of respect.

Recording Audio/Video, Pictures

• Know that by signing up and performing at the slam, you are giving permission for Anthology, inc. to record your performance. Your performance may appear on a future release of a Mesa Slam compilation album, either physical or electronic.
• Understand that you are not forfeiting the rights to your work, or even that particular performance. You are welcome to request a copy of the performace, and utilize it in any way that you see fit. Anthology asks that your provide credit either to Anthology/Mesa Poetry Slam for the work.
• You are welcome to record your own performances at any Mesa Slam event, just try not to take away from the enjoyment of the audience in doing so.
• generally, pictures are allowed at Anthology, inc. events by anyone. Please see the slammaster prior to the event should you have any questions.
• Video and audio recording by persons or organizations other than yourself (meaning probably your mom, dad or whomever you handed the camera to when you took the stage) or Anthology, Inc. is prohibited without prior written consent from both parties, including the other participants in the event. If you see anything, please bring it to the attention of the slammaster.

Discount Tickets

• Poets registered for the slam will not need to pay a fee to get in. Poets may bring one guest, also at no charge.
• Poets on the waiting list will be given a discount entry fee to get in.
