2022 Mesa Book Festival Moderator Interest form

Hello,

   If you are interested in being a MODERATOR for one of the Panels at the 2022 Mesa Book Festival, please fill out the form below. The Deadline for Moderator interest submission is until November 30, 2022, or until all panels are assigned a Moderator.

   Forms reveived AFTER the dealine or after the assignment of Moderators will be asked to be an "emergency back-up" Moderator, the details of which will be communicated at that time.

NOTE

This form is NOT for interested panelists, that process is seperate and we will link to the submission page for that as soon as we are ready to accept Panelists.

 

Panel Moderator Interest Form- 2022 Mesa Book Festival

It's time to start planning for the 2022 Mesa Book Festival, and we are looking for panel moderator volunteers! Panel Moderators conduct the discussion of the panle, introducing the panelists and helping to keep the discussion moving during the panel time. Moderators have a "Cheat Sheet" with the name sof the panelists and some great discussion making suggestions to make the concvveration moving.

No experience is necessary to moderat a panel, we'll train you.

We ask that you be available the entire day of December 17, 2022 from 9am-5pm, regardless of when you panel is scheduled.

The Panel we ask you to moserate may be different than a panel you may pitch to us, or topic you indicate interest in.

We'll need to meet as a moderator group prior to the day of the event, if you receive a acceptance from us, please be sure to send us your availability.

Moderators are welcome to moderate multiple panels if they choose, we will send that information with the acceptance email.

Vendors may be panel moderators, but the Festival is not able to provide booth coverage during the time of your panel. Please be prepared to make arrangements.

Our goal is to make sure you are aware of your panels at least a month before the festival date, so you have time to prepare your moderation questions/topics.
We have ideas, but we'd love to hear yours as well (500 word limit)
One you submit your form, we will check in with you as we finalize the panel lineup.
