Lourdes Leiner
Lourdes Leiner is a poet, educator, and community advocate based in Arizona. Lourdes has been featured as Arizona's First Writer in Residence at Catalyst Studios (2025) and has received a University of Arizona Poetry Center fellowship. Dedicated to the transformative power of language, she is a current partner with Pima Community College. She regularly leads workshops, readings, and performances that foster creativity and expand access to the arts.

This workshop invites participants to write with empathy, urgency, and awareness using language as a bridge.
Panel will include an outline of this Anthology starting through the first literary center at the Phoenix Center of the Arts, through the founder, author and educator Lourdes Leiner.
Panel will end with community writing activity.
