The Sonoran Writers Conference is a full-day gathering of writers, authors, editors, and publishing professionals designed to help creatives sharpen their craft and grow their careers through workshops, panels, and networking opportunities. The conference brings together voices from across the literary world to share insights on writing, publishing, and building an audience.

Eldridge is the national bestselling author of the Lily Wong thriller series, including The Ninja DaughterThe Ninja’s Blade, and The Ninja Betrayed. Her work has received multiple accolades, including nominations for the Anthony, Lefty, and Macavity Awards, and she won the 2021 Crimson Scribe Award for Best Book of the Year

Born and raised in Honolulu, Eldridge has had an extraordinary career spanning multiple creative disciplines. Before becoming a novelist, she performed as an actress, singer, and dancer on Broadway, television, and film. She is also a fifth-degree black belt in To-Shin Do ninjutsu, and her martial arts background informs the action and authenticity of her fiction.

“As a storyteller whose work crosses cultures, genres, and artistic mediums, Tori Eldridge brings a unique perspective on creativity and resilience,” said conference organizer Bob Nelson. “Her experience in publishing, performance, and martial arts offers writers an inspiring example of how diverse life experiences can shape compelling stories. These are the kind of uplifting speakers we want to motivate our writing community to their best work.”

The 2026 Sonoran Writers Conference will feature keynote presentations, expert panels, workshops, and opportunities for authors to connect with fellow writers and publishing professionals.
