The Mesa Book Crawl was a great time . . .
2022 and 2023 made for a couple of great proof of concept events for the Mesa Book Crawl. The Downtown Mesa Business Community proudly supported the literary community, welcoming them into their stores to share their books with the Mesa Community. We are grateful for that support.
2024 Will Be Different
Today we announced some great changes to the Mesa Book Festival that we think will help it blossom into the huge event it has the potential to be. Some of those changes offered new opportunities, and we have also announced a new Cirque du Livre Writer's Conference for 2025. Those changes, coupled with the ADDITIONAL changes coming to the Roadside Book Festival this year, have pushed the Book Crawl into a bit of a back seat.
Instead of giving the event less than full throttle, we have decided (for now) to gently place it into storage, and see if we can build the bandwidth in the future to bring it back.
We're excited to share the great changes we have in store, and we hope that we can, at some point, bring the Book Crawl back in a whole new way.
