We wanted to share that we have found out that Stephanie Foster, Mesa Librarian at the Red Mountain Branch, organizer of many Local Authors Days and a fantastic founding supporter of the Book Festival, recently passed away.
There are some people that are foundational talent to the work of promoting literacy, and she was certainly one of those. Her work was selfless, her support unwavering, and her enthusiasm infectious.
We will miss her dearly, and our hearts go out to her family, her Mesa Public Library family and the family of authors that benefitted from her support.
Thank you, Stephanie, for that which you have given us to move forward with.
